Nicolas has always been around horses and eventers more specifically: at the young age of 20, he participated at his first Olympic Games and at 22, he became the youngest European champion in Eventing history with his faithful Galan de Sauvagère, performance which he renewed in 2007. Since then, he has accumulated performances, becoming notably the only Frenchman to date to win the legendary Badminton Horse Trials with Hildago de L’Ile.
